Wine production on Mount Athos has a long tradition. Only grapes from our own vineyards are used to produce the delicious wine in excellent organic quality. These are blessed by the favorable environmental conditions with rich vines full of tasty grapes - it almost seems as if the Greek gods themselves cultivate the vineyards and bestow them with such wonderful fruits. The monks themselves regularly enjoy a glass of the tasty organic wine with their meal.
